"2013" The Year of Victory 2 Corinthians 2:14
by Dr. Stella L. Davis on 12/29/12
Christ has already defeated Satan and all his evil powers and authorities totally and forever. He did that through His death on the cross, through His shed blood, and through His triumphant resurrection.
Through the death of Jesus Christ on our behalf, as our representative, carrying our guilt and paying our penalty, God is now able to forgive us for all our sinful acts. Because His justice has been satisfied by the death of Christ. He can forgive every sin we have ever committed without compromising His own justice.
We must understand that all our sinful acts, no matter how many or how serious, have been forgiven when we put our faith in Jesus.
2 Corinthians 5:21 God made him who had no sin (Jesus) to be sin for us, so through the death of Jesus Christ on our behalf, as our representative, carrying our guilt and paying our penalty, God is now able to forgive us for all our sinful acts. Because His justice has been satisfied by the death of Christ. He can forgive every sin we have ever committed without compromising His own justice.
This is the divine exchange. Jesus was made sin with our sinfulness so that we might be made righteous with His righteousness. Once we grasp the fact that we have been made righteous with the righteousness of Christ, then the Devil cannot make us feel guilty any longer. Satan's main weapon will then be taken from him. Jesus disarmend the principalities and powers by His death on the cross. He took from them their main weapon against us.
Colosians 2:15 And having disarmed and powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
A triumph is not actually the winning of victory: it is the celebration and demonstration of a victory that has already been won. Jesus, through His death on the cross, demonstrated to the whole universe His victory over the entire satanic kingdom. However Jesus did not win that victory for Himself: He did not need it. He won it for us. It is God's purpose that the victory should be worked out and demonstrated through us.
2 Corinthians 2:14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us in His triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowlege of Him in every place. That means there is no time and no place in which we cannot visibly share the triumph of Christ over Satan's kingdom.
Happy Thanksgiving, Remember to Give Thanks to our God!
by Dr. Stella L. Davis on 11/17/12
Oh give thanks to the Lord for He is good for His mercy endure forever. Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands. Serve the Lord with gladness. Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord He is God.It is He who made us and not we ourselves. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with Thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His Holy. For the Lord is good. His mercy is everlasting and His truth endures for all generations. Psalm 100
I will praise You O Lord with my whole heart. I will tell of all your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You. I will sing praises to your name O Most High. O Lord our God how excellent is your name in all the earth.: Who have set your glory above the heavens!
The Lord is my shepherd: I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in the path of righteousness. For His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For You are with me. Your rod and Your staff they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil: My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23.
We have so much to be thankful for and let us not forget to spend time giving thanks to our Father God for His tender mercies and His loving kindness towards His people.
Happy Thanksgiving 2012. Love, joy and peace, Dr. Stella

The CCIA Celebrates "25" years of Service 1988-2013
by Dr. Stella L. Davis on 09/19/12
I can hardly believe in 2013 it will be 25 years since God gave me the vision of the (CCIA) Christian Cosmetology International Association, an outreach ministry for the Beauty Industry. www.christccia.org
In 1987 while I was attending Zoe Christian Leadership Training, I asked God to reveal to me my purpose. I had been a hairstylist for 16 years and had no plans to change my career. God's plans are higher than our plans and His ways higher than our ways. As I was driving to work on the Hollywood Freeway on my way to Wilfred Beauty Academy, where is was working as the Educational Director at that time, I heard a voice say, the " Christian Cosmetology International Association."
I was stunned and wondered where the voice came from and what did it have to do with me. When I arrived at work, I called my Mother, Thelma a hairstylist for over 40 years at that time and asked her if she had ever heard of the "Christian Cosmetology International Association", and she said no but it sounds good to me.
As the day progressed, I began to say it over and over again in my mind until I finally got the revelation, He was speaking giving me my purpose and the answer to the question I had asked Him the night before while crying out to God in class at Zoe. I was determined to find discover my purpose.
My next question to God was...so you want me to stop doing hair and start an organization? He answered again by saying, "I am going to combine your ministry and your profession." How did hairstyling and ministry go together? I was even more confused and wondered how He was planning to make it happen. Marketplace Ministry was something I never thought of, but God knew. Many are the plans in a man's heart, but God's purpose will prevail.
Little by little, He bagan to unfold the plan and started by showing me the foundational scripture, Psalm 90:17. Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us. And establish the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands. It was a confirmation and very appropriate for the Beauty Industry.
After graduation from Zoe, I enrolled in Crenshaw Christian Center, School of Ministry for two years, while still working for Wilfred Beauty Academy. In 1989 I graduated with honors and obtained my ministry license. God confirmed my call to ministry as a Teacher and Evangelist according to Ephesians 4:11. And He Himself gave some to be Apostles some Prophets, some Evangelist, some Pastors and Teachers.
25 years, a quarter of a century have come and gone and I am still a Beauty Industry Professional and a Minister of the Gospel. Mark 16:15 says, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. That is the assignment God has blessed me with and I fully intend to fulfill my call to ministry. I want to hear those words, Well done, my good and faithful servant. What about you?
It is a New Day a New Season of New Beginnings, Proverbs 4:25-26
by Dr. Stella L. Davis on 05/17/12
Proverbs 4:25-26 says to: Let your eyes look straight ahead and your eyelids look right before you. Ponder the path of your feet, and let your ways be established.
I pray, Lord I don't want to be trying to secure my future with my own plans. I want to be in the center of your plans, knowing that you have given me everything I need for what is ahead. I pray that you give me strength to endure without giving up. You have said the he who endures to the end will be saved. Matthew 10:22. Help me to run the race in a way that I will finish strong and receive the prize You have for me according to I Corinthians 9:24. I put my future in your hands and ask that you would give me total peace about it.
Lord I pray, everything that was done to me or I have done that causes me pain, I surrender to You. May it no longer torment me or affect what I do today. Make me glad according to the days in which I have been afficted and the years I have seen evilaccording to Psalm 90:15. Thank you that you make all things new in every way according to Revelations 21:5. Help me to keep my eyes looking straight ahead and not back on the former days and old ways of doing things. I know You want to do something new in my life today, in Jesus name I pray, amen.
